2022 Marin McKee

Marin McKee - Director

Hi, my name is Marin McKee. I am beyond excited to be your Region 5 youth director this year! I am 17 years old and have been in the regions for as long as I can remember! I own two purebred Arabians (Eros MA +/ and Lobomotion +) and ride with Munson Performance Horses. I have competed in all disciplines but primarily in western and hunt seat. Outside of AHA I compete on my High School Equestrian Team and on a Youth Equestrian Development Team as well as play high school volleyball! As your director I hope to open up conversation between youth to better connect people across the region.

2022 Chandler Brown

Chandler Brown- Treasurer

My name is Chandler Brown and I am 12 years old. I love Alabama Football and music. Queen is my favorite band along with Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. I have been showing Arabians and Half-Arabians since I was 4. I have a 17-year-old Arabian mare named Brigetta PE (Gigi) that I show Halter, Liberty, Performance Halter and WT Huntseat Pleasure & Equitation. We have been Region 16 Champions, Buckeye Champions, Region 14 Champions and have won multiple class a show Championships and Reserve Championships. My biggest dream is to work with Michael Byatt and show halter horses all over the world. While I was showing at Region 14 in 2019, I was blessed with the chance to be coached by Mr. Byatt and even got to lead his Champion colt out in the victory pass. It was AMAZING!
