2026-2027 Region 5 Youth - Officer Bios:
Youth Director: Kaitlyn Hill
My name is Kaitlyn Hill, and I am overjoyed to be your Region V Youth Director for 2026-2027! I am currently 16 years old and have been riding Arabian horses since I was nine. I have owned my Half-Arabian mare named Deluxe Accommodation (Luxey), since I was 11 years old. With my barn N Joy Arabians I currently show in Sport Horse Under Saddle, Sport Horse In-hand, Hunt Seat Equitation, Western Dressage, Jumping, Ranch Riding and Rail, and Showmanship. Besides riding horses I love to bake and hang out with friends. For the past two years I have served as class president for my high school, which makes me even more excited to now serve my Region V community! As your Region V Youth Director I will strive to connect us closer together as a community, listen to all the amazing ideas our youth have, and make sure to create fun and engaging activities for all youth to enjoy.
Vice Director: Aara Rabadia
Hi! My name is Aara Rabadia and I’m super excited to be your Region 5 Youth Vice-Director! I am currently 15 years old and have been showing arabians for almost 7 years. I own a purebred named Adrian RF(Mickey) who I show in dressage, sport horse under saddle, sport horse in-hand, and hunter pleasure. I train and show with Morning Star Farm. Outside of riding I take part of Model UN, DECA, Debate, and enjoy painting. This year I hope I can increase opportunities for region 5 youth and help create many fun experiences!
Treasurer: Maddox Swenson
Hi, my name is Maddox Swenson . I am thrilled to be your 2026-2027 Youth Treasurer! I am 13 years old and I have been riding Arabians since 2nd grade. I own a purebred gelding, named McGuffin ( Mickey) who I show in country English pleasure, halter, showmanship , and native costume. He also does leadline and I would love to try show Hack someday. I also ride a half Arabian named Eclipse in 4h in all disciplines including dressage. I also raise lambs for 4h and like to skateboard. I was accepted to a science and medical high school this fall and want to go into large animal veterinary. This is my first year on the Region V board, I served 2 years on the jr. Board. I hope to build community around the youth , continue to help plan fun things for the youth , and help with the fundraising to support the youth. I am excited for this opportunity!
Secretary: Alexis Kaslik
Hi, my name is Alexis Kaslik. I am thrilled to be your 2026-2027 Youth Secretary! I am 17 years old and I have been riding Arabians for 11 years! I own a purebred gelding, EA Donatello (Don) and a half Arab mare, Heartz On Fire (Jewel), whom I show in sport horse and ranch. I usually spend most of my time around the barn though I am very involved in my academics. This is my second year on the Region V board. I hope to bring stronger connections for the youth in our region.
