2026 Open Show High Point Rules and Directions
Thank you for participating in the Region 5 Open Show Program!
Directions:
- Choose either Open Show or Dressage (Western Dressage is now its own division!)
- Fill out the initial FormSite User Registration to create your login and password
- You can add one show at a time, or use your login to return to add or edit additional shows
- By clicking “Save Progress,” your entries will be automatically saved, and you can return at any time to edit or add more
Open Show Rules:
One horse/rider combo must have competed in TWO shows
If the show has more than one judge, enter your HIGHEST placing from the judging panel

Open
Zone
Schooling
Non AHA Breed Shows with OTAB Classes
Open Show Classes to Count:
Showmanship
Trail
Western/Hunter/English Pleasure
Equitation/Horsemanship
*Gaming, In-hand Trail, Halter, and Driving not to count
Dressage Show Rules:
- One horse/rider combo must have competed in TWO shows
- New for 2026: Western and Classical Divisions (to be placed separately)
- If the show has more than one judge, enter your highest placing and score
- All levels to count (sport horse in-hand, not to count)
- Shows to Count: 4H/Fair - Open - Zone - Schooling - Breed Shows with OTAB Classes
