Rules:

Regional Champion and Reserve Champion for Adult Amateur, Walk/Trot, 13 and under and 14-18 will be awarded
 
Awards will be given to the amateur and youth for their 2019 Region 5 Championships entry’s, based on the highest number of points from meeting the requirements specified below. One Horse/One Rider Point Tracking.
 
Every exhibitor and horse will be tracked based on the criteria below. It will be your responsibility to provide the correct Rider/Handler and horse information on your original entry form as no changes will be made after the fact. One horse one rider ~ point tracking.

  • Junior Exhibitor 10 & Under Walk/Trot
    (All exhibitors will be tracked - all walk-trot classes will count towards this award)

  • Junior Exhibitor 13 & Under
    (All exhibitors will be tracked - all classes main arena Halter & Performance & Working western will count)

  • Junior Exhibitor 14-18
    (All exhibitors will be tracked - all classes main arena Halter & Performance & Working western will count)

  • Adult Amateur
    (All exhibitors will be tracked - all classes main arena Halter & Performance & Working western will count)

  • Requirement for all age groups
    In order to have your classes count, you must show in one equitation class.


Points will be awarded as follows:

Champion 5 Points
Reserve Champion 4 Points
Top 5 “third overall” 3 Points
Top 5 “fourth overall” 2 Points
Top 5 “fifth overall” 1 Points

Then everyone will get "gift buckets/baskets" filled with a variety of goodies!

Awards will be announced at the end of the show.
You do not have to be present to receive your award, however someone from your barn will have to pick up your award, it will not be mailed to you.

 If there is a tie, tiebreakers will be determined using the following:

1. Highest placing in equitation class
2. Horse/rider combination entered and placed in the most divisions
3. Most number of championships.
