About Region 5

The Arabian Horse Association's Region 5 encompasses Alaska, Washington, Northern Idaho, and Western Montana.

Region 5 has earned the respect of Arabian horse competitors across the country. Whether for show, endurance or dressage, horses from the Pacific Northwest are among the best in the nation.

The quality and caliber of our Region 5 horses are evident by the results of highly competitive shows such as the U.S. Nationals, Canadian Nationals, and Scottsdale.

Instructions to enter online:

1. Set up your personal account using your email and create a password. One Owner per entry blank.

2. Enter owner info, exactly as it appears on the papers. If you are a new owner, call AHA to get the papers transferred to you. There is a field for Social Security numbers (SSN). Leave this field blank as there is no purse money at this show. If Owner/Trainer are same, enter name and card numbers in Trainer fields also. If you are leasing a horse, enter your Owner last name as “last name (lessee)”

3. Enter rider info, exactly how it appears on your AHA card. If it says “Josephine Jolene Smith” or “Timothy Michael White” do not put down JoJo Smith or Timmy White.  If you are recently married and your AHA card has your maiden name, contact AHA for a name change.  (same goes for JoJo and Timmy).  What is on your AHA card is how it will be recorded and announced. You can enter multiple rider/handlers for same horse(s) by clicking “Add Rider”.

4. Enter your horse information, exactly as it appears on the papers. If the horse has new owners, call AHA to get the papers updated.
      • Arabians: only number, no leading “Zero”. Half-Arabians include 1A, 2A, etc. Canadian Registry start # with CAHR or CPAR. 
      • If your horse has a USEF# (for HOTY Awards program), enter in the box that says AHSA. 
      • You can enter multiple horses for same Owner by clicking “Add Horse”. 
      • If your horse has a USDF number, be sure to confirm when you check in at the show office.

5. All classes have 3 digits. Class 1 is #001. Use the drop-down menu to make it easier. Select Rider# for each corresponding class.

6. You can stop and start as many times as you need to, until you hit “SUBMIT”. Do not submit before 6:00 AM PST on March 23rd or you will incur a 48 hour penalty. 

7. If you need to make a change after the entry is submitted, email the correction to lkolke@aol.com. Include Name of Show, Owner & Horse in correspondence.

Entry Payment:

1. This show does not take Credit Cards. We PREFER PAYPAL Send to CascadeYouthBenefit@gmail.com

   •When prompted, select “Sending as Friend/Family”.
   •If you do not use this, we will collect any extra fees charged to us by PayPal

 2. Or Write your check for the correct amount and mail payment to arrive before closing date of April 16, 2021.

 3. Payment should be made same day as entry is submitted.

Last Important Step:

Electronic entries and signatures are legal and binding.

1. Make sure all parties sign your Entry Agreement. & USEF Waiver of Liability (Owner, Trainer and Riders)

2. Fill out your Essential Persons List for your group. Remember NO SPECTATORS at this time.

3. Each Person on the list must complete a USEF Waiver of Liability & a R5 Covid Waiver. (Yes, that’s a minimum of 4 pages total, but HEY! We are going to a show!!!

5. There will be security at the gate to confirm that all paperwork is complete before allowing entrance to the facility.
