About Region 5

The Arabian Horse Association's Region 5 encompasses Alaska, Washington, Northern Idaho, and Western Montana.

Region 5 has earned the respect of Arabian horse competitors across the country. Whether for show, endurance or dressage, horses from the Pacific Northwest are among the best in the nation.

The quality and caliber of our Region 5 horses are evident by the results of highly competitive shows such as the U.S. Nationals, Canadian Nationals, and Scottsdale.

dellesta park arabians logo

Dellesta Park Arabians is a great mother and daughter team, my mother Janel started breeding Arabians in her teen years and the passion carried through to me.   Now we share this great journey together and officially established Dellesta Park Arabians in 2001 with our first DPA bred and named foal Caro Lynn DPA (*Form Carillon x Magics Charisma).  We pride ourselves on our motto of breeding beautiful, athletic Arabians.  Holding true to this virtue we have been blessed to breed Scottsdale, World Cup, Arabian Breeder Finals, Regional, Canadian and US National winners.  Not only have we experienced main stream halter success but one of our bred horses Echcentric DPA (EA Echstravagant x Magics Charisma) will be competing for the third year in a row at the Tevis Cup.

Hodgson Performance Horses

Leslie Hodgson specializes in training Arabian and Half-Arabian horses at Hodgson Performance Horses. She has been riding and showing successfully through the National level for 28 years.

Leslie's main goal is personal, positive development for each of her riders and horses, and delights in helping troubled horses, and nervous riders too. Leslie's clients enjoy the atmosphere she creates for her program, which feels like family.  Each rider can develop comfortably and with positive encouragement to reach their goals. Horses in training with Leslie clients, both human and horse learn how to use their bodies and minds in relaxing and positive ways. We have successfully done many "fixes".

You can see Leslie and Hodgson Performance Horses in both the "main ring" and the "sport horse ring".  From Park down to Western Pleasure, then dressage, hunters/jumpers, and western dressage, Leslie has done it all, and her clients are doing it all now too!
